Mark Garrison is an innovative educator and a passionate advocate for technology in education. He is currently the Director of Technology for White Bear Lake Area Schools in Minnesota. Garrison earned a Masters in Learning Technologies at the University of Minnesota. He is also a Google Certified Teacher and one of 15 Youtube Star Teachers worldwide. His varied teaching background spans 17 years focused on upper elementary in addition to First Grade Reading, Middle School Music, Art and PE, High School Wood Shop and Instructional Technology Support.



In 2002 Mark Garrison and his wife paddled 3,000 miles from the Minnesota border to the Arctic Ocean. They now live in Minneapolis where they are raising 3 children and finding adventure in everyday life.
