iBeacon, a nascent technology that allows your mobile device to alert apps when you approach or leave a location with a beacon, can then provide specific data or information directly to the users device. You will learn how beacons work and discover many possible applications for the technology. If you have a compatible mobile device, you will be able to experience the technology first-hand.
