Exploring CK-12 Open Education Resources for Math and Science LIMITED

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

Today's schools are beginning to explore the growing number of Open Educational Resources (OER) that are available at no cost to district curriculum budgets. Not only can these resources save money, but they also provide teachers and students access to interactive and flexible resources for anytime/anywhere learning. In this session, you will explore the various resources offered by CK-12 for math and science at all grade levels, and leave with material customized for your students. Bring a unit of study or course outline, and let's discover together what is possible.

I am currently the Director of Instructional Technology for Becker Public Schools. We are involved in an expanding iPad 1:1 initiative in Grades K-12. Our High School and Middle School have been recognized as an Apple Distinguished Program. I believe very strongly in leveraging resources to support self-directed learning to communicate, create, collaborate, and think critically.
