Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

ScratchJr and PBS Kids ScratchJr are free, graphical programming apps designed for children ages 5-7. Both apps are available for free for Android and iPad devices and support digital age learning, the ISTE Standards for Students, technology literacy, and content standards. You will learn the basics of using ScratchJr, learn and reflect on how ScratchJr supports technology literacy and content standards, explore the tutorials and resources available, and see examples of how students can use ScratchJr to create and share interactive stories, games, and animations. You will begin to create an implementation plan for introducing ScratchJr to students.

I'm an avid supporter of infusing 21st Century Skills into the curriculum through appropriate integration of technology and pedagogy. I'm also promoting coding in the classroom and volunteering at a coder dojo.
