Colleen Coleman has taught social studies at Burnsville High School for 19 years. Her focus is in government and civic engagement; she has taken students to the state and national capitals and has students work on campaigns and serve as election judges. She has served an a teacher mentor and has taught a college-level government course for the past 14 years. She is a district Schoology coach and was awarded the 2017 TIES Exceptional Teacher Award and the 2017 191 Community of Excellence Award for Innovation. She is a Google Certified Educator.
